Location of the Project:-
Dam: The Dam of the Project is proposed on the Kalez Khola river just downstream of Lingchum Village in West Sikkim.
Powerhouse: The Powerhouse of the Project is proposed on the right bank of Rangit river just upstream of Reshi Hot Spring.
Present Status of the Project:
The Project is presently at preliminary surevy and investigation stage. Detailed Survey and Investigation works are under progress by Central Water Commission.
Expected Commissioing Date:
The Project is expected to be commissioined in May 2017.
