The Members of the State Advisory Committee (SAC) of the SSERC led by the Chairperson ,Shri.T.T. Dorji visited the 99 MW Chuzachen Hydropower Project of M/s Gati Infrastructure Ltd on 16th April 2015. Shri. Jigme D.Denzongpa, Sr.Legal Officer of the SSERC , the PCE cum Secretary of the Energy & Power Department, Govt. of Sikkim, Shri. P.B.Subba, the PCE cum Secretary Designate Shri. N.T.Bhutia and other senior officers and engineers of the Department accompanied the SAC. The visiting team was accorded a warm welcome by Shri. B.K. Khabrani (Vice President) and other senior officials and engineers of M/s Gati Infrastructure Limited. The team visited the Powerhouse, Rongli Dam and other structures of the Project. A power point presentation was given by M/s Gati on the various aspects of the Project.
The main purpose of the visit was to understand the technical and other aspects of the Project to help plan other projects in future.
